Daily Poll: Is Religion the Answer to Today's Problems?

Friday March 17, 2006
There are those who feel that the only real way we will be able to solve today's problems is by turning to religion because religion (their religion, naturally) holds all the answers. Others dispute this, including people who are religious themselves. Is there anything in religion which is needed to deal with problems today?

Daily Poll: Can religion provide answers and solutions for today's problems, or is it a relic of the past?

  • There's nothing out-of-date about religion, but there is about some religious believers. Religion still has something to offer.
  • Religion may be helpful in some cases, but it's not something to be generally relied upon.
  • Religion is an outdated relic that should be abandoned - we need modern solutions to modern problems.
  • I have no idea.
  • I couldn't care less.
