Zeus Saves!

Christianity supplanted Greek paganism, but what if the Greek gods were real the whole time and Christianity a false religion? I'm sure that not many Christians would want to entertain that possibility, but Greek paganism is no more implausible than Christianity.

Thrice Great Moly has a very nice parody of Jack Chick tracts, taking one of the tracts and imaging what it would be like if the story in it were told in the context of the ancient Greek gods being real.

John is killed in a car accident and, instead of being brought before Jesus as he expected, he is brought before Zeus. Naturally, Zeus is disappointed in John for having worshipped false gods instead of the true gods. He is thrown into the fiery pits of Tartarus for his blasphemy. Would you like to escape Tartarus? If so, you need to accept Zeus as your savior — before it's too late!
