Philosophy Action Figures

By , About.com Guide   April 24, 2004

Pow! Zot! Wham! Watch "Dangerous" Descartes and "Killer" Kant make mincemeat of their opponents with these special philosophy action figures. Philosophy isn't just about sitting around in an office and thinking - it's also about using your karate-chop action!

Krinklyman presents:

"Bashin'" Bishop Berkeley
Powers: God on his side (not a unique power among Moderns), ninja stealth skills
Weaknesses: eye-closing defense is vulnerable to Samuel Johnson's™ Rock-Kicking® attack.
"Hurt 'em" Hume
Powers: Scottish Karate, local skepticism
Weaknesses: Never really sure about anything other than the contents of his own experience

Some of this is quite funny if you're familiar with the people and backgrounds.
