Pagans vs. Christians
The Sylva Herald explains:
"I'm here to preach the gospel," said Moore, member of the Street Preachers Fellowship and a leader of the N.C. Bible Believers, another street preaching group. "Freedom of speech is my right under the Constitution. I've stepped outside their permitted meeting area, but I will continue to preach the word of Jesus Christ," he said.
Temple members planned on using the Sunday gathering to discuss future plans for a campus pagan group with students from Western Carolina University. No worship activities had been scheduled for the afternoon, Costantino-Cardon said. About half the dozen people who came to the pagan meeting left within 30 minutes, saying Moore's preaching and the presence of the press made it difficult for them to meet. They relocated to an undisclosed spot to continue.
It is worth noting that the story carries a picture of Sylvan Hearth Pagan Temple High Priestess Lianna Costantino-Cardon extending her hand in friendship and greeting to Dean Moore, but he refused to take it and like a child kept his own hands behind the sandwich board he used to promote his "Turn to Jesus" message. What does that say about his character?
Costantino-Cardon plans on talking to her attorney because there is evidently a state criminal statute that is supposed to forbid disturbance of a religious meeting, which means that Moore wasn't simply exercising his freedom of speech. But let's assume that no such violation occurred and that he was within his rights - does that mean that he was right? Is it right to intimidate another group because you dislike their religion, attack their beliefs with false statements, and basically try to prevent them from effectively enjoying the same religious freedoms that you do? No, it's not. The fact that Moore would use his rights to limit the rights of others also says a lot about his character.
None of it good.

You have to understand where Moore is coming from He obviously is very threatened and intimidated by what millions are becoming to understand as their truth. This kind of thing has been going on for thousand of years. I am entirely convinced had this kind of thing happened in the 1600’s, Moore would have struck the match to ignite the flames. Constantino-Cardon has my support.
Alot of poeple are intimidated by the things they don’t understand.
“We fear things in proportion to our ignorance of them”
-Titus Livius
Unfortunately, it could just be the dislike many Christians (not all, but the majority of them) get, or rather the hatred they seem to aquire against people who don’t play by their rules. Being in a Pagan family, I would know. Because we’re Pagan and proud of it, and refuse all attempts of convertion the Christian population throws at us, we are often strongly disliked because of it. The one question I have yet to understand the answer to, is “Why?” People like Dean Moore should just grow up and learn to accept other religions.
The preacher is obviously afraid of pagans because we do not need churches or one specific building to worship. We also have thousands of gods and can costimize our beliefs and we can belief in as many gods as we want to.
i will only say this pagans did not kill my people christians did. oh and so all of you know jesus went to india in those missing years clearly the bible left it out, he learned from hindu bhuddist master, were do you think he got such advance teaching he preach, back then it did not exist or it was to advance for those simpletons, its called plagerism. pure and simple. wake up christians

im a christian and i dont hate anyone i like all my friends. i have friends who are of all religions. Christians didnt just make up rules God did, and we can’t always follow by them all the time, we’re all human we’re not perfect we make mistakes from time to time.
Funny thing about Christians and God’s rules. Christians all agree that God made the rules, but they can’t agree on what those rules are. For every Christian who says “God made rule X,” you can find another Christian who says, “No, he didn’t make that rule.” Either that, or they’ll disagree about how the rule must be interpreted. One will say, “Yes, God said X, but he really meant Y,” and another will say, “No, he didn’t mean Y, he meant Z,” and still another will say, “You’re both wrong, he really meant W.” And so on and so on.
I go past this being a comment on Moore personally. His inability to respect others is not only an indictment of his own intolerance, it is symptomatic of the intolerance, and the falseness, of his religious beliefs. By acting as he does, he advertises to the world that not only is he a bad person, his is a bad philosophy and a false religion.
