NEWS: Ten Commandments Monument Moved

According to Alabama state officials, Roy Moore's Ten Commandments monument has been moved to a new location in the Alabama Judicial Building. For now it will remain out of public view - if court rulings uphold the earlier decision to remove the monument, then it will have to leave the building completely.

Supporters of Judge Roy Moore are urging a national boycott of any company that takes the job of removing the monument; the original company contacted about it refused to take the job, but a willing company was eventually found. According to CNN:

"When we discover that (moving) company, I think they're going to be sorry they cooperated with this act," [Rev. Rob Schenck of the National Clergy Council in Washington, D.C.] said.

Advocates of the continued government endorsement of the Ten Commandments remain gathered around the Judicial Building, praying and holding signs expressing their disgust over the idea that their religion cannot be singled out for special, favorable treatment.
