Evangelizing to Muslims
Erich Bridges writes in the Baptist Press:
Muslims, like most people, don't respond well to in-your-face confrontation. They do respond to friendship, love and -- at the right moment -- the good news that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior of all people. And it is news to most Muslims.
Sounds an awful lot like he's suggesting that Muslims be set up...
While we're talking truth and lies, the notion that Muslims automatically reject the Gospel is one of Satan's biggest falsehoods. The fact that so many Christians believe this lie -- or fear testing it -- is a global tragedy. Most of the world's 1.2 billion Muslims simply haven't heard the Gospel in a way they can understand. When they do, God begins to reveal Himself.
Funny thing is, the same could be said in reverse. After all, quite a few Christians convert to Islam - and most Christians haven't heard the message of Islam in a way they understand. But I doubt that Bridges wants to hear about that...

Choosing a faith or religion is not just about believing your viewpoint to be true. It’s about looking at all the options (including atheism) and examining the evidence to find the truth…for example in the case of Islam/Christianity - what evidence (manuscripts, archaeology, history, prophecy) supports that the Bible or Quran is really the truth? Which one appears more reliable and to point to truth? I examined this issues for myself after being an agnostic for years, concluding that the original message given in the old and new testament is the only valid text, proven by a wealth of manuscript and historical evidence that the Quran simply doesn’t have. The God of the Quran is also very different to the God of the Bible - read them for yourself. History proves to us that Jesus is who he and his jewish followers said he was. OK, which religions have you investigated and to what extent?
Feel free to make your case, if you can.
