Malawi Muslims Riot, Attack Christians

Rioting members of the Muslim minority of Malawi have attacked priests and vandalized churches of the Christian majority amid reports that suspected Islamic extremists who had been arrested by the government were secretly handed over to American authorities. Muslims in Malawi have been suspicious that no hard evidence against the suspected extremists existed; thus the idea that they had been turned over to a foreign state has inflamed already heated passions.
