Catholic Theologian May Sue Over Atheist Allegation Eamon Duffy, Professor of the History of Christianity at Cambridge University, is quoted on the website of an American television company as describing his "journey to atheism." He didn't remember saying any such thing and, when he saw the original tapes, he found that the remarks were actually made by German theologian Gerd Lüdemann. Now he may sue.
